Our Family
Service Mission

In 1974, I had the amazing opportunity to complete a two year service mission in Mexico. I was able to serve the people of Mexico in many areas, including small villages where electricity and running water were unheard of. I learned the language and grew to love the people and made lifelong friends. I came home humbled and appreciated even more of what we have.
The Farming Years
Farming is one of my passions as I grew up on a farm in Binghamton and worked a couple farms in my early teens/early twenties. My wife an I had run a farm in Idaho and New York, so after a few years in Law Enforcement, we decided to try our hand at farming again. With 4 children, my wife and I decided to move to Pittsville Wisconsin in 1991-1995 where we worked two dairy different dairy farms. There we were able to work as a family and teach our children the importance of hard work and dedication.

Former Bellows Falls Wrestling Team Coach

In late 1980s, my love for sports, and my work with the youth led me to Leland and Gray High School, where I had the opportunity to coach baseball for four years. My first two years was coaching Junior High, then the Varsity Coach moved on and I took over.
In 1996, while still at Windham County Sheriff Department, I had the opportunity to be the wrestling coach at Bellows Falls Union high school. For several years, I taught the elementary level, junior high, and the high school varsity team. I handed the coaching reins over in 2014. During my last four years of coaching, students from Hartford High School joined the team and we had a co-op team. During my last season, the team won tournaments all over New England. The team took second place in the State of Vermont. and was awarded Vermont Coach of the Year.
